Guardian Connect is a new service platform from Guardian Fueling Technologies that utilizes state of the art, cloud-based technology to remotely monitor and repair fuel dispensers, tank gauges, point of sale and other enabled devices at fueling locations. By connecting to our customers’ equipment, we are able to get real-time notifications of certain conditions such as slow-flow, paper-out, card reader and keypad failure, error codes, tampering alerts, and other such conditions that would warrant the need for equipment service.

By utilizing a suite of connectivity tools, a Guardian Connect Remote Technician performs diagnostics on equipment without ever going to the affected site. Should equipment malfunction, Guardian Connect receives immediate notification, often before a client even even knows there is a problem. Our testing has shown that we can remotely diagnose and remotely repair upwards of 24% of equipment malfunctions without ever rolling a service van--saving money and increasing up-time for our clients.

In addition to making remote diagnostics and repairs, Guardian Connect also actively monitors flow rates, CRIND paper levels, card reader and keypad performance, as well as dispenser security. Our monitoring agents quickly notify clients of these conditions so action can be taken to correct the situation, ultimately improving the end-customer experience at fueling locations. To add even more value to our connected clients, Guardian Connect also remotely performs necessary EMV related software upgrades at scheduled times without having to have a technician on site.
